Jocelyn Shu is an artist inspired by the process of translating across cultures and fields of knowledge. She draws influence from her background as a psychology researcher in cognitive and affective science. She holds a BFA in Painting/Drawing jointly from the University of San Francisco and the California College of the Arts, a PhD in Psychology from Columbia University, and completed postdoctoral research at Harvard. Born in the Bay Area, California, she lives and works between Greater Boston and Taipei, Taiwan.
